Color Run 2013

This past week-end was a busy one.  Chelsea had her good friend Andrea Osness getting married and she was flying in for her wedding.  Ciarra and I had bought tickets to do the Color Run which is a 5k where they throw colored chalk on you.  Saturday morning we went to the race Ciarra, Chelsea, Brianna, Celia, me, Sara and some of her extended family.  It was tons of fun and we walked the race in 55 minutes but we were not pushing at all. 

After the race we went to Cody Allred's baptism.  He has been a family friend for years and here he is finally joining the church.  Then in the evening we went to Andrea Osness's wedding.  The wedding was fabulous nothing was spared.  It was like a real fairy tale wedding.  What a great day!!

It is amazing what you can purchase for $5.00.  We had a young women's activity     and each group had to purchase something from each of the value colors for under $5.00.  The girls had fun! 

Brianna decided she wanted to bake a cake today.  She made it from scratch and did a great job and then she tried her hand at decorating.  She is such an independent child.  She definitely will do what she wants to do.  Love her!

Groves Christmas

Christmas with the Groves Family.  We had a great dinner and then Grandma Joan gave the kids their traditional pajamas.  She gave us all poppers from England and they were hilarious!  We all got different items in our poppers.  Doug got a purse holder, Austin got a key chain that looked like a steering wheel, Keyton got a pocket size screwdriver, I got a pen and there were a lot of other fun little trinkety items.  All of us got a golden crown as you can see Celia wearing.  It is fun to be together with family during the holidays.

Harrison's Eagle

All the Lyon boys st Harrison's Eagle Court.  Thomas, Steve, Garrett, Harrison, Austin, Grandpa, Jeff, Cameron, Reed, Russell and Bruce.

They did a special flag ceremony and honored the veterans Grandpa Paul and his Grandpa Little.  It was very nice!

Today Brice and Sara had a party for Nathan's 3rd Birthday.  We were not able to attend the party so we went over early and helped decorate his Minion cupcakes.  They were adorable

Lauren' s Wedding

Today was my niece Lauren's wedding.  Nathan said "There's Princess Lauren."  He is a real cutie!
